happy new year!!!
1st day of work was damn tiring, whole body aching, worked from 4pm to almost 3 am in e morning... work as sth like a waiter in conrad hotel... 1st day don know what r they talking abt also... so many terms they use i don understand ha...

2nd day wasn't so bad became chef's assistant... ha... cut cucumber make duck liver into sth like rocher... after preparation for new year's countdown party buffet at e hotel, all chefs including me, went to lobby n take food for ppl who wanted to eat. my mother was near by n wanted to take a look but have to get a ticket for e buffet which cost $180. so my mother went elsewhere. i was to make ceasar salad in this big cheese called "parmesen cheese" which looks like a big clay pot which caught ppl's attention. its an italian cheese. i was made to remember e names so when ppl ask, i am able to tell them. there r many caucasians guests. some spoke other languages, so all i could do is smile to those i could not communicate with. haha. some of them even took pictures with me. and one guy shake my hand n said "i have never shaken hands with a CHEF" haha he thoughts im a chef when im just a assistant. haha!!
after e count down i saw my friend which i met on 1st day of work. he was in this dessert shop doing sth like what i do only she serves dessert. i went in and ate quite a lot ha... if i don eat they will be thrown away, so y don i eat yeh? haha. so many nice foods, there is this jelly red wine, in e pic, which is super duper nice and many other more nice foods. saw them throwing all e salmon
