bruce lee???

yeasterday went to my great grandfather's house to celebrate his birthday with all other relatives. he is 90 years old already. after he looked at me for a moment then he say i look like bruce lee. he still remembers how bruce lee looks like. ha. but then i got to go to work n could not stay very long. before i left he spoke to me in english, cool eh, cos last time he was trishaw puller, so he have to learn english to communicate with caucasians. he told me to visit him when im free. ha. i will visit him if i have the time.

its gona be cny in abt 2 weeks time--so happy =))
its gona be releasing of A's results in abt 3 to 4 weeks time--so scary =O

serving ukraine prime minister

got the honour to serve the ukraine prime minister at conrad hotel yeaterday for breakfast meeting n today for lunch meeting.. e ukraine prime minister looks so cool.
then got this ukraine lady which i served durinf breakfast, she is really very pretty. when i n my friends standby outside e room they all talk abt her. haha.

today's lunch was posted to golden peony, a chinese restaurant department in conrad, together with a friend from banquet. then e ppl at gp say we look alike and by chance, we got same surname. haha. then one girl call me luo zhi xiang(taiwanese singer) n my friend lin jun jie(spore singer). haha like we r some stars.
after clearing the lunch meeting, there r 2 sets of extra dessert cos two ppl didnt turn up. then i asked e captian from gp if we can eat, then he gave us. so cool la. both of us are paid to eat vvvip(very very very important person) food for free, only that we have to eat in e kitchen. but its gd enough already. =)

mini marketing

went to toa payoh with sarah to buy some stuffs for baking today. seriously got nothing to do at home when not working. but then don have recepie book to bake anything. sarah lend me some recepie books which has loads of stuffs in it.

when reach home cant seem to find e ingredients for baking, got to wait for my mother to reach home n dig out everything for me cos don know where she kept e ingredients. so can only start tmr n tmr morning got to work at. luckily morning is no wedding functions.

any other functions r better than serving at wedding. less stress n less tiring. best if got buffet. always so many untouched leftover foods. so wasted. so i always eat behind e kitchen after e buffet is over. as for weddings, e food smell so nice n i have to take it just beside my face n cant eat it. so tempting esp when im super hungry. last time what ever food comes in front of me i usually just eat it, now have trained to control my temptations for food. sometimes my stomach even growl so loudly i think others can hear la.

1st day at vivo city

went to vivo today with my parents n sis, althought its there for so long already but its my 1st time there. a bit slow eh? haha.
the place is really big, like some kind of futuristic place. there is this garedn like swimming pool at e last level. almost every store r really big.
treat them for lunch at this international style with hong kong style restaurent
n i bought one hamster from e pet shop. its a sapphire and very small so haven give it a name cos cant tell if its a guy or girl.
after that went walking n looking ard, n bought many many stuffs, fierce

outing (food hunt & playing) with serene and sze yuan

initially intended to have a food hunt with serene & sze yuan.
1st plcae we went to tp which is having open house. but then we went to wrong school to eat. my friend intro me to design school but then we went to another school. haha.
after that we went to to e open house n ate ben & jerry's ice cream.
went to safra for bowling after that. serene throw so relax then win sze yuan & me.
then we cycled to ecp n ate at e lagoon. we bought many foods n serene somehow got cheated when buying the indian rojak, just a bit and it cost $7. then got this cat that approach us n fed it with e indian rojak. hahaha.
after that we went to katong to look for dinner, but then we went to this place called settlers cafe. its a place where u get to play all of e card n board games. nv seen those kind of games before, n they are very fun. at 1st we played this finding game on e board.
some of e games we played with our own rules like robbing e bank.
then there is this slamwich game, everytime i slam then my tongue like got tied up the words just cant seem to get out, haha. n sze yuan always got his trump card, the "stop thief" card.
n serene is like really fast in those reflex games cos she's a badminton player. haha!
we played from ard 5pm to close to 11pm. e games are all so fun n laugh till stomach pain that we forgot about e time n forgotten to take dinner. wahaha.
then had to rush home cos might miss the last bus.

5th day at conrad

last night was my 5th night working at conrad hotel. see one of ppl's happy moment in their life.

e wedding couples last night told their story. two of them are in RJC and liked each other back then but didnt dare to confess to each other. then after going away n doing their further studies, 4 years later they met online n started talking abt e past then slowly they got together, confess their love n got married. its like so sweet la, like some kind of sweet love story line. haha.

yesterday didnt do runner, was much better n less tiring. wan to apply to get in to chef or bell boy or room service. some of my friends working there who are under attatchment have been to different departments and say that banquet is e toughest job in e whole hotel. anyway i also wan to try out diff kind of jobs, then next time sound like i have so many diff working experience. wahaha, talk rubbish only.

happy new year!!!

1st day of work was damn tiring, whole body aching, worked from 4pm to almost 3 am in e morning... work as sth like a waiter in conrad hotel... 1st day don know what r they talking abt also... so many terms they use i don understand ha...

2nd day wasn't so bad became chef's assistant... ha... cut cucumber make duck liver into sth like rocher... after preparation for new year's countdown party buffet at e hotel, all chefs including me, went to lobby n take food for ppl who wanted to eat. my mother was near by n wanted to take a look but have to get a ticket for e buffet which cost $180. so my mother went elsewhere. i was to make ceasar salad in this big cheese called "parmesen cheese" which looks like a big clay pot which caught ppl's attention. its an italian cheese. i was made to remember e names so when ppl ask, i am able to tell them. there r many caucasians guests. some spoke other languages, so all i could do is smile to those i could not communicate with. haha. some of them even took pictures with me. and one guy shake my hand n said "i have never shaken hands with a CHEF" haha he thoughts im a chef when im just a assistant. haha!!

after e count down i saw my friend which i met on 1st day of work. he was in this dessert shop doing sth like what i do only she serves dessert. i went in and ate quite a lot ha... if i don eat they will be thrown away, so y don i eat yeh? haha. so many nice foods, there is this jelly red wine, in e pic, which is super duper nice and many other more nice foods. saw them throwing all e salmon
